Sue Gardner lives in a village in North Essex and has taught both adults and children who are dyslexic. For 25 years she worked for the Local Educational Authority as a Special Educational Needs Teacher and subsequently as a Coordinator. She spent some years researching the various teaching methods used to help dyslexic students. She currently works for the Thorpe Dyslexia Centre in North Essex. This book is the result of her research and experiences, giving the method she has devised, which has successfully helped students improve their literacy skills. Although this book has been designed for children, the same approach may be used for adults.
